I was born in Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city. My family was not wealthy, but people around me taught me Japanese, and later I gained work experience in Japan. Through continued connections with Japan, I have also learned from its culture and values.
Having reached the age of 54, I believe it is time to pass the baton to a younger generation. Myanmar is still a developing country and many industries have yet to grow. I hope young people who go to Japan will return not only with earnings, but also with technology, skills and knowledge that can contribute to Myanmar's future.
I hope our company's work can become one small part of that bridge.
